If this is your first time signing in using the Microsoft Entra ID method, you will first need to establish a password using the password reset tool. These instructions will also work for students who have set up the Entra ID account but forgot their password.

1. Access the New Whittier Portal
   • Navigate to: https://experience.elluciancloud.com/wc440
   • Enter your Poet email address, then click Next.
2. Reset Your Password
   • Click on "Forgot my password" to initiate the password reset options.
3. Verify Your Phone Number
   • Microsoft will display the last two digits of the primary phone number registered in our system.
   • Enter your full phone number when prompted.
     • Note: If the displayed number is not reachable or incorrect, please visit the Legacy MyWhittier Personal Information page and update your Primary Phone. If you don't have Legacy MyWhittier logins, please use the Help request form to submit a phone number correction request.
4. Receive Verification Code
   • Choose your preferred method:
     • Text me a code: Receive a text message with a verification code. 
     • Call me: Receive an automated voice call prompting you to press the # key. 
   • Enter the received code or follow the voice instructions to verify your identity.
5. Create a New Password
   • Follow the password requirements:
     • Minimum length.
     • Include uppercase and lowercase letters.
     • At least one number
     • At least one special character.
   • Confirm your new password by typing it again.
   • A confirmation message will indicate that your password has been reset and you can click on the link to return to the login page.
6. Log In and Set Up MFA
   • Log in with your full Poet email address and new password.
   • When prompted to set up MFA:
     1. If prompted for the Microsoft Authenticator App, select "I want to use a different method."
     2. Choose Phone as the verification method.
     3. Enter your mobile number, then select:
        • Text me a code or Call me.
        • Complete the second factor authentication.
   • Explore the new Whittier College Experience portal!

You now have access to your new Entra ID login with MFA enabled. You can use these credentials for any Whittier College resource and also for Microsoft 365 services and apps.
